Yes, it’s Ja Morant’s Rookie of the Year world as of right now and everyone else is living in it.
But have you stepped back and looked at all the rookies who are making splashes? Beyond the Memphis Grizzlies point guard, there are so many names: R.J. Barrett is breaking out for the Knicks, Tyler Herro and Kendrick Nunn are playing like vets for the Heat, PJ Washington is good for the Hornets, the same goes for the Wizards’ Rui Hachimura and Eric Paschall is filling in nicely for the injured Warriors.
Oh … and there’s that Zion Williamson guy who we’re waiting to see.
