The National Comedy Awards for Stand Up to Cancer, how to watch, host and nominations

Recognising some of Britain's best comedians and comedy shows is the National Comedy Awards for Stand Up to Cancer and the award show promises to be a fun and raucous night that honours the work of the comedy world over the past year. Established and emerging comedians will be celebrated during the awards.

Categories include Best Scripted Comedy, Best Comedy Podcast and Outstanding Comedy Actress and Actor. Viewers will also have the chance to vote live for the Best Stand-Up Show.

How to watch the National Comedy Awards

The National Comedy Awards will be aired live on Channel 4 on Friday, February 17. The awards will start at 9pm and coverage will finish at 11.05pm. You can also watch National Comedy Awards on Channel 4 streaming website All4.

Who is hosting National Comedy Awards?

Hilarious comedian Tom Allen is hosting the National Comedy Awards live from London's Roundhouse. His impressive presenting portfolio includes the ITV show Cooking with the Stars, the BBC spin-off show from The Apprentice, The Apprentice: You're Fired! and his own Channel 4 show Tom Allen's Quizness.
