The Mummy actor Brendan Fraser looked almost unrecognisable as he attended a movie premiere on Friday.
The 52-year-old Hollywood star, who rose to fame following his role in George Of The Jungle, made an appearance on the red carpet last night for the No Sudden Move screening during the Tribeca Film Festival in New York.
Brendan plays Jones in the upcoming blockbuster and he was joined by fellow castmates David Harbour and Jon Hamm at the event.
But he looked dramatically different ahead of his new gig playing 600lb recluse Charlie in The Whale - directed by Darren Aronofsky.
His character Charlie hopes to reconnect with his daughter after they lost contact when he came out to her.
The movie will see Charlie battle an eating disorder after the death of his partner.
Brendan was suited and booted for the event, where he posed for some snaps on the red carpet.
His upcoming roles come after he took a step back from the spotlight in the last decade.
In 2018, the actor revealed how doing his own stunts in the action movies he became famous for ruined his body.
"By the time I did the third Mummy picture in China [in 2008], I was put together with tape and ice," he told GQ.
"Because they're small and light and they can fit under your clothes.
"I was building an exoskeleton for myself daily."
The actor needed multiple surgeries on his back including a lumbar laminectomy, which removes the back portion of a vertebra in the lower back to create more room within the spinal canal.
He also underwent a partial knee replacement and surgery to repair his vocal cords.
