The Mrs Hinch toilet roll curtain trick that's free and has fantastic results

Another Mrs Hinch tip to make your home look amazing is taking the internet by storm.

The cleaning sensation has inspired her fans the with her savvy trick that makes your curtains look tidier.

And it's all completely free, you just need to collect a very common household item.

The tip involves using empty toilet rolls and spacing them evenly between curtain pleats so they hang perfectly neat and uniform, MirrorOnline reports.

The first step is to collect a good amount of empty toilet rolls before they are binned. Have at least 10 to hand.

Next, cut them open so you can pull them on and off the curtain pole without having to take the whole thing down.

You can also cut the rolls to the size you want the pleats to be spaced out.

Then place a roll between each curtain ring and tape closed so they don’t fall off every time you open the curtain.

The process takes minutes and is completely free.

Hundreds of people have been copying the idea with fabulous results.

One wrote: "Who would have thought a little toilet roll tube would make such a difference to how my curtains look!"

Another said: "My mum did the same thing with her new curtains last year. It's a brilliant idea and really works."

And a third said: "Curtains are a bug bearer of mine. They need to hang right or I flap. Now I have perfectly hung curtains. All thanks to the toilet roll tube."
