The most wonderful collab of the season? Selfridges and Disney launch "A Most Magical Christmas"

With Christmas lights twinkling, decorated fir trees unveiled, and restaurants rolling out their festive menus, it’s an especially wonderful time to be in London.

And now, there’s an extra sprinkling of fairy dust in the air, thanks to Selfridges.

The store has unveiled its 2025 festive collaboration with Disney, bringing a new layer of magic not just to the Oxford Street flagship, but to its Birmingham and Manchester stores, and online too.

Naturally, London will serve as the centrepiece of celebrations, with the facade of the legendary store transformed by a light show that will take place every 15 minutes from 5 — 9pm. Look out for Tinker Bell spreading her pixie dust across the lights entwined around the entire building.

There will also be other 3D light activations, hand-painted sets dressing the windows, and a musical dancing parade, complete with Father Christmas and his entourage decked out in outfits designed by Max Allen, Selfridges’ long-term collaborator. Selfridges Cinema will show Disney flicks, and the Foodhall is serving up treats inspired by Disney’s much-loved tales.

But the real magic — as far as shopping is concerned — can be found inside Selfridges’ hallowed halls.

The store’s Disney collaboration extends beyond decorations and onto the shelves themselves, with limited edition launches, specially commissioned fashion pieces, and adorable gifting from some of the biggest names in luxury.

More than 70 brands have signed up to the project, including Christian Louboutin, Coach, GANNI and Jo Malone London, with Disney mania spread across fashion, beauty, and home.

Selfridges’ Corner Shop, a venue that plays host to a rotation of pop-ups and concepts, will be part of the fun too. Head here to check out a special capsule collection curated by Harry Styles’ stylist Harry Lambert (not to mention the second instalment of his Disney x Zara ‘The Lost Boys’ collection), alongside an edit of Disney-themed products from select designers.

Elsewhere, the shop’s Disney Store is home to a new collection of Winnie the Pooh and Mickey Mouse dressed in Selfridges’ signature yellow. On November 11, this space will host a ‘Magic of Disney’ pin trading event, welcoming up to 250 guests to buy and swap pins.

There’s a lot to see, enjoy and experience; why not get ahead of the queues by securing your favourite Disney pieces via Selfridges’ Click & Collect? More soaking up the theatre, less time at tills. Now that’s magic in itself.
