The most sought-after home in Greater Manchester that everyone has their eyes on

There are certain properties that tend to catch the eyes of house hunters, whether that be for their jaw-dropping size, appearance, huge price tag or cheap cost. One home in Greater Manchester has recently sparked a lot of attention on property site Zoopla thanks to the latter.

Data provided each month by Zoopla reveals which homes have attracted the most views from house hunters and for July, this semi-detached home proved to be the biggest hit. Listed for sale on July 1, the property in Droylsden, Tameside boasts three bedrooms and two bathrooms - and estate agents are accepting offers over £55,000.

It is easy to see why it is so sought-after in comparison to what homes typically cost in the area. The average house price for Droylsden in July was £197,841, according to Rightmove, with the most popular sales being semi-detached properties that sold for around £202,517.

But, the property is being sold outright. In fact, the home on Edge Lane is part of a 25% shared ownership scheme with monthly rent to be paid on the remaining 75% share. Buying a home through this scheme helps house hunters who can't afford all of the deposit and mortgage payments for a home, but can instead buy a share of the property and pay rent to a landlord on the rest.

Inside the semi-detached home is generous in size with a variety of spacious rooms. It has also been designed as a sustainable home ensuring a high level of energy efficiency.

On the ground floor of the property is an entrance hall that leads into a good-sized lounge. There is then another hall that gives access to a downstairs bathroom and the newly fitted kitchen dining area with a door that leads out to the back garden.

Upstairs on the first floor are three spacious bedrooms and a family bathroom. Outside to the rear is a lovely garden with both a patio and grass area, as well as a driveway to the front.

As an ideal purchase for families, there are three schools within walking distance including Seymour Road Academy, Manchester Road Primary Academy and Droylsden Academy, as well as Lewis Road Children's Park also close by.

It is also a great location for transport links with Gorton and Fairfield station around a mile away.
