Peacefully, on Thursday 6th October, Colin passed away at the University Hospital of Wales, Aged 79. Devoted husband of the late Barbara, father of Susan and the late Gareth, father-in-law of Chris, loving Papa to David, James, Ben, Chloe & Beth and will be sadly missed by his great grandchildren, sister, nieces & nephews. The funeral service will take place on Friday 4th November at Cardiff & Glamorgan Crematorium, Port Road East, Wenvoe at 1.00pm. Eileen Hopkins

Passed away peacefully with family by her side, aged 80 years. Devoted Wife of Des. Precious Mammy of Kevin, Mansel and Sharon. Loved Mother in Law of Peter. Cherished Nanny of Rachel, Philip, Nicola and Mitch. Adored Nanny of Great Granddaughter Anwen, the light of her life. Eileen will be loved and missed by all her family and friends. Edward Hopkins

Passed away peacefully at home in Llwynypia, on Wednesday 19th October aged 82 years. Beloved husband to Mary, and adored father to Simon and father-in-law to Shelley. Loving grandfather to Ellis and Charles. Edward will be fondly remembered by the communities he served as a public servant which include, Rhondda Polar Bears Disabled Swimming Club, past Mayor of Rhondda Borough Council (1983-84). Chairman Friends of Y Bwthyn, President Gelli Park Bowls Club, and Chairman Rhondda Constituency Labour Party Tonypandy ward. Funeral service on Thursday 3rd November at 12.15pm, St Cynons Church, Llwynypia, followed by cremation at Glyntaff Crematorium at 1.30pm. Family flowers only please. Dorothy Martin

(nee Woodward) Peacefully on the 14th October in the loving care of Penylan Nursing Home Dorothy, devoted wife of the late Roy, loving mother of Lynne, dear mother-in-law of Tony, treasured grandma to Scott and Robin and proud great grandma of Sophie. Dorothy will be greatly missed by all family and friends. Forever in our hearts. Funeral service on Monday 7th November 2022 at the Briwnant Chapel, Thornhill Crematorium at 3.45pm. Margaret Pearce

Died, suddenly at home aged 85. Margaret (formerly Frost), of Rhiwbina, Cardiff, formerly of Stapleford, Cambridge, was predeceased by her husbands Robin Frost and Jack Pearce, also by her eldest daughter Victoria Hughes. Margaret was born in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent. In her teens her family moved to Shropshire, where Margaret attended the Priory School for Girls in Shrewsbury. After graduating from Whiteland's College in London, Margaret and Robin moved to Cambridge, where Margaret taught Biology at Sawston Village College and rose to the post of Deputy Headmistress. She remained at the school until her retirement. Margaret was very active in the community, participating in guiding and local amateur dramatics. After her retirement she was able to indulge her love of travel. She met her second husband while on vacation in Sicily, and they married in 1999, when Margaret relocated to Cardiff. She and Jack explored the world on many happy vacations, and they particularly enjoyed cruising. She is survived by her daughter Emma, granddaughter Lucy Hughes, brother Richard Williams, and several nieces and nephews. Margaret was very loved and will be missed dearly by family and friends. Her funeral will be held at 1:30pm on 3rd November, 2022 at Thornhill Crematorium, Briwnant Chapel, Cardiff CF14 9UA, United Kingdom. Marion Williams

Peacefully with her family on 18th October, Marion, dearly loved and devoted wife of the late John, much loved mother of the late Clive, Huw and Andrew and cherished grandma and great grandma. Passed away suddenly at home on the 4th October 2022, Carole, aged 78 years. Carole will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Jean Griffiths

On Friday 14th October Jean sadly but peacefully passed away at the UHW in Cardiff. Devoted wife to the late Mervyn, beloved mother to Mike and Carol, much loved mother in law to Maureen and the late Mike, treasured nannie to Ceri, Gareth, Danielle, Rhiannon and Leo. Jean will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. Joyce Valerie Harris

Sadly, on Saturday 1st October, Joyce passed away at her home, Aged 92. Devoted wife of the late Dave, sister of Doug and the late John, sister-in-law of Maureen and a beloved aunt to Kevin, Chris, Suzanne, Andrew and families. Christine Hullin

(née Fuller) Peacefully at home in Old Saint Mellons, Cardiff on 12th October 2022. Much loved wife of David; sorely missed by family and friends. Steve Saunders

It is with great sadness that Helen announces the peaceful passing of her beloved husband, Steve of Miskin (previously Pontcanna) on 12th October aged 72 years. Loving father to Colin, Stephen and Rhiannon, much loved Gramps to all his Grandchildren, son of the late Eddie and Frances and brother of Roger. Dillwyn Jenkins

Loving husband to the late Gillian Jenkins. Devoted Father to Nicko, Catherine, Dianna and Lesley, and also a loving Grandfather and Great-Grandfather. Thomas Hywel John Powell (Known as John Powell) Peacefully at the University Hospital of Wales, on October 14th 2022, John passed away after a short illness. Beloved husband of Sheila, loving Father of Mark, Father-in-law to Fiona, and cherished Pappy to Cerys and Sophie. John will be dearly missed by all his family and friends. Hywel Davies

Suddenly and unexpectedly on 4th October, Hywel, 68, beloved husband of Rachel, devoted father of Liam, Joseph and Sarah, adored tadcu of Abernathy. Passed away peacefully on the 8th October. Loving husband to Deborah and cherished father to Claire and Mark. Peacefully on 16th October 2022 William (Billy) aged 81 years. Loved eldest brother to Leanora and Stewart, loved Uncle and Great Uncle to all his nieces and nephews.
