The most popular girl and boy baby names for 2019 have been revealed

The name 'Liam' has topped the list of most popular baby names for boys for the second year in a row while Oliver drops to number four.

BabyCentre have revealed 2019's 100 most popular girls and boys names of 2019.

The most popular girls name for 2019 like in 2018 is again Olivia, this is followed by Emma, Ava and Sophia.

The most popular names for boys, after Liam, are Noah, Elijah and Oliver.

Some new additions in the top ten for boys and girls include Luna, Harper and Charlotte and Logan, Mason and Elijah
