It is regarded as the most iconic property in Speers Point and its sale is expected to be one of the biggest for Lake Macquarie.

LJ Hooker Lake Macquarie have listed The Knoll, as it is known, at 374 The Esplanade for $4 million to $4.4 million.

Set on over 3000 square metres of land in an elevated position with sweeping views of the lake, the residence is over 100 years old and regarded as having high heritage significance for the area. Built circa 1918 for the Thomas family on land originally owned by Sir James Fairfax, it is now on the market for the first time in 27 years.
