The month of October wasn’t kind to the Chicago Bears

The magic that was to be the Chicago Bears’ 2019 season seems to be fading at a rapid rate, and as the losses continue to mount you start to wonder just how ugly things could possibly get.

Hopefully not as ugly as the month of October, which was as bad as it could’ve gone for the Bears.

The Bears failed to win a game in October, including losses to the Oakland Raiders (Oct. 6), New Orleans Saints (Oct. 20) and now the Los Angeles Chargers (Oct. 27).

In all three of those losses, the Bears didn’t just lose. They lost in heartbreaking fashion. Whether it was failing to finish against the Raiders, just embarrassing themselves against the Saints or losing to the Chargers on Eddy Pineiro’s missed field goal, they were all demoralizing losses.

Luckily for the Bears, their bye week was in October otherwise we could be looking at a four-game losing streak for the month.

With November just around the corner, the Bears will face the Philadelphia Eagles, the Detroit Lions (twice), the Los Angeles Rams and the New York Giants.

Let’s hope that October was the trick and November is the treat for a Bears team that has gone more than a month without a trip to Club Dub.
