The moment Rangers star had to be separated from PSV altercation

Rangers and PSV players were caught up in a scuffle after full-time of last night's match, it has emerged.

Pictures have surfaced online showing Nicolas Raskin involved in somewhat of a tussle with PSV duo Ismael Saibari and Noa Lang.

It's said that a heated exchange of words took place between the opposition players and this then prompted Raskin to get involved in the shoving match.

Jack Butland got in amongst the incident to help break it up, as security and other club officials ended the altercation.

Footage on TNT Sports caught Raskin - who was subbed off for Sam Lammers in the second half - being led down the tunnel after the exchange.

BBC commentator Liam McLeod reported: "For some reason, Nicolas Raskin has got himself embroiled with two or three PSV players.

"There's a bit of shoving and not sure if anything worse than that. There was certainly a head-to-head or two and Todd Cantwell got involved as well, then it was a member of stadium staff that pulled Raskin away from two or three PSV players.

"All the Rangers players have since been taken off the pitch. They are clearly hurting from what has been a pretty embarrassing evening for them and PSV players have moved away from the scene as well to celebrate with their supporters.

"But clearly, there was an ugly finale to the evening for the Rangers players below us. We wait and see if there are any repercussions from that."
