It’s not every day you celebrate your 70th wedding anniversary.
It’s even less usual to have an award-winning multi-million selling recording artist serenade you in tribute.
But that’s what happened to a couple in Aberavon, thanks to operatic singer Paul Potts.
The former winner of the first series of Britain’s Got Talent decided to join the celebrations of a couple, Gwyneth and Gerwyn, by putting on a performance on the street where they live.
In addition, it was the couple’s neighbour Hywel’s 90th birthday.
In front of a crowd of appreciative neighbours - all maintaining social distancing in their front gardens - Paul gave a rousing performance, including favourite Nessun Dorma

The singer said: “I was told about Gwyneth and Gerwyn’s 70th anniversary from their family via the local council who asked for a video clip to be sent to the couple.
"I felt that as 70 years is such a significant achievement, that this wouldn’t be enough and decided that I would perform for them in their street.
"It turned out that it was their next door neighbour Hywel’s 90th birthday also.
"There was quite a (socially distanced) street party atmosphere on the street and it was a real pleasure to be part of their celebrations, especially at a time like this.”
