Jose Mourinho has taken Tottenham training for the first time this afternoon (Wednesday).
The former Chelsea and Manchester United boss met with his new players today after being appointed as the successor to Mauricio Pochettino, who was sacked by the club last night after a poor start to the season.
It has been a busy day for Mourinho, who was confirmed as the new head coach of Tottenham at 6.30am, before Spurs later confirmed who will join him in his backroom staff in north London.
He will not face the media for the first time as Spurs' new head coach until tomorrow (Thursday), but he has already been getting used to his new surroundings at Hotspur Way, with pictures showing him leading the players on the training ground.
Spurs have also posted a video on social media from his first training session as head coach, and within it, there is a moment that could have some significance for one of Tottenham's key players.
After a small-sided game in training, Mourinho is seen going over to Dele Alli to give him a friendly push, before the pair have a brief discussion and share a hug.
Our Spurs correspondent Alasdair Gold believes this could be a key relationship at Tottenham for Mourinho, with Alli looking to rediscover the form that he has shown in previous seasons, having stalled in his career due to injuries and a loss of form.
