Aside from slicing a backpass behind for a corner in the first half, the Newcastle loanee looked pretty assured throughout, although he was rarely too troubled.

A solid showing, looked lively going forward all evening, although did occasionally leave gapes in behind.
MIKE VAN DER HOORN 7
A solid return for the Dutchman that was unfortunately spoiled by his injury. Subbed.
BEN CABANGO 7
Left himself a little open on occasion in the first half by committing himself when he should have maybe stayed on his feet. Improved after the break and more than played his part.
KYLE NAUGHTON 7
Booked inside two minutes, but otherwise looked lively on the left-hand side, although again was occasionally guilty of leaving gaps behind.
GEORGE BYERS 7
Was brilliant in the first half, produced a driving performance in the middle of the park. Faded after the break but wasn't the only one.
MATT GRIMES (C) 6
Held the midfield together well enough, but struggled to stamp his authority on the game after the interval.
ANDRE AYEW 7
Showed some typically classy touches and was at the centre of much of Swansea's attacking efforts. Faded after the break.

Took his goal brilliantly and showed some really classy touches at times. One of his best performances in a Swans shirt. Subbed.

Started brightly on the wing and created a couple of good chances, but was another to fade away after half-time.
BORJA BASTON 6
Missed a great chance, but held the ball up decently enough in the first half. Another to go off the boil after the break, and he'll have been hoping to make more of an impact. Subbed.
