The mixed Swansea City player ratings as youngster asks questions but several off pace against Cardiff City

FREDDIE WOODMAN 6

Good save to deny Marlon Pack and was then unfortunate to be beaten by Aden Flint. Hugely fortunate not to concede after gifting the ball to Kieffer Moore late on in the first half too. Good stop to deny Harry Wilson in the second half.

KYLE NAUGHTON 6

Made a few interceptions in the first 45 and was fairly solid. Decent enough display in truth.

RYAN BENNETT 7

Solid at the back and produced a vital intervention to deny Moore in the first half. Fairly comfortable in the second half and did the basics well.

MARC GUEHI - Star Man 7

One of few who looked on it for the hosts, despite the pressure applied on him. Bombed forward when possible and did well in the air defensively when required. Fine display.

CONNOR ROBERTS 6

Desperately struggled to cause problems on the right flank in the first half, although Swansea looked dangerous when the Welshman did get involved. Improved after the restart and carried a threat.

MATT GRIMES 6

Had a real tough battle in the middle of the park but coped fairly well. Was a real influence in the second half on the ball.

CONOR HOURIHANE N/A

Was denied by Dillon Phillips from a free-kick early on before being forced off due to injury.

JAY FULTON 6

Fairly decent in the first half when others struggled and always found space, but final ball wasn't always there. Subbed in the second half.

JAKE BIDWELL 5

A couple of decent crosses aside, Bidwell was easily dealt with by Tom Sang and others on Swansea's left wing. Not a good showing. Subbed.

MORGAN WHITTAKER 6

Handed his first start for the club, the attacker had a tough introduction to proceedings. After a tough 35 minutes or so, he slowly grew into and really asked questions in the second half. Spurned a few chances to make a name for himself.

ANDRE AYEW 6

Worryingly quiet in the opening half an hour and dropped deeper to get on the ball. More of a threat after the restart as Swansea dominated the ball, but his end product wasn't there. So unlucky with a header that hit the post.

Subs

Korey Smith (for Hourihane) - Found it tough going in the first half but grew after the restart. Lost his composure with a shot but got into dangerous areas. 6

Jamal Lowe (for Naughton) - Some decent moments and had a shot blocked. 6

Ryan Manning (for Bidwell) - Helped Swansea to continue to push late on, but didn't have much time to change things. 6

Yan Dhanda (for Fulton) - Looked threatening and perhaps should have come on earlier. Wasted a chance late on. 6
