The mixed Swansea City player ratings as loan duo impress again but others fail to deliver at Brentford

ERWIN MULDER 4

Didn't get near either of Brentford's first two goals and seemed helpless when the home side went 3-0 up.

KYLE NAUGHTON 5

Back in the side after serving a three-game ban, Naughton was unable to stem the tide early on. Better after the restart and was subbed as his side pushed.

MIKE VAN DER HOORN 4

Lost sight of Emiliano Marcondes for Brentford's second goal, and Swansea needed far more from the Dutchman. Subbed at the break.

MARC GUEHI - Star Man 7

Used his physical presence on numerous occasions and was the only defender who looked on it in the first-half. Carried that on in the second-half. Top effort.

CONNOR ROBERTS 6

Given a tough time on the right flank. Barely able to get forward in the opening half, despite being in a wing-back role. Better in the second-half though. Booked for a clash with Thomas Frank late on.

JAY FULTON 4

Was unable to help Swansea get the control they needed in the middle of the park. Hooked at half-time.

MATT GRIMES 5

Clearly did his best to get Swansea going, but didn't cover himself in glory for the Bees' first-half goals. Gave everything in the second-half.

JAKE BIDWELL 5

Has been in fine form of late, but had a real tough game at his old stomping ground. Lost the tussle with Bryan Mbeumo for the Bees' third goal.

CONOR GALLAGHER 6

Should have netted his first goal for the club in the first-half, but was denied by David Raya. Too wasteful at times, but was improved in the second-half and looked more likely to create something.

ANDRE AYEW 6

Looked to cause problems in the final third but often found himself outnumbered. Worryingly ineffective, although not through a lack of trying.

RHIAN BREWSTER 7

Cut an isolated figure up top as the home side dominated proceedings. But took his goal really well yet again. His final goal for the club, and what a player he's been.

Subs

Ben Cabango (for van der Hoorn) - Firm tackle seconds after coming on but was booked soon after. Was solid. 6

Yan Dhanda (for Fulton) - Looked lively when he came on. Was the most likely to create something. 6

Bersant Celina (for Naughton) - Got in dangerous positions and could have made an impact had he had more time on the pitch. 6
