The mixed Cardiff City v Nottingham Forest player ratings as one star fluffs his lines and another looks out of sorts

Dillon Phillips 6

Couldn't really do anything about James Garner's goal. Tipped a shot around the post late on but other than that had little to do.

Curtis Nelson 7

Looked good at both ends of the pitch, having returned from that calf injury. Was one of City's better performers.

Aden Flint 6

Continued his solid form into the match. Will be gutted he missed that header late on from just five yards out.

Ciaron Brown 6

Lewis Grabban played on him all afternoon but he did well to deal with the threat. Still doesn't ooze confidence when in possession.

Tom Sang 7

Another decent display from the right-back, who is growing with each performance. Headed one chance over the bar and sent in a number of decent crosses.

Will Vaulks 6

Covered so much ground in the middle. Had one half-volley shot whistle wide in the first half.

Marlon Pack 6

Looked tidy enough on the ball, got booked for a bad challenge on Sammy Ameobi early on, though.

Joe Ralls 6

Another admirable performance out of position at left-back. It would be harsh to lay too much blame at his door for Cyrus Christie's cross to Garner.

Leandro Bacuna 5

Had a really good early chance saved by Brice Samba. Held the ball up well when fed with his back to goal, but had a few really good opportunities and fluffed his lines.

Harry Wilson 7 (star man)

Buzzed around just outside the Forest box and looked lively, drawing fouls left, right and centre. Cardiff looked worse when he went off.

Kieffer Moore 6

Was the focal point for the long balls up the middle and won more than his fair share. But looked a little out of sorts with his touch and his radar.

Subs

Sheyi Ojo (on for Wilson 71) 5 - Ball just bobbled around him and he couldn't make a telling impact.

Josh Murphy (on for Bacuna 71) 6 - Sent a couple of really dangerous crosses in and Flint should have converted one.

Jonny Williams (on for Ralls 71) 6 - Got on the ball a few times and looked sharp enough when in possession.

Rubin Colwill (on for Vaulks 84) NA - Had a few decent touches late on.

Mark Harris (on for Moore 84) NA - Looked to add to the attack but didn't make too much of a difference.
