In a fashion collaboration that feels like a match made in heaven, celebrity-loved jewellery brand Missoma has joined forces with trend-led eyewear label Jimmy Fairly on a limited-edition sunglasses capsule – and I got a first look.
We’re undoubtedly in a golden era of collaborations. Gap x Victoria Beckham sold out within days, Stella McCartney x H&M has returned after two decades and Uniqlo x Cecilie Bahnsen is about to drop.
Founded 15 years ago, French label Jimmy Fairly is a gateaway label for designer eyewear trends at accessible prices. Synonymous with statement aviators and chic cat eyes, its beaded and gold sunglasses chains are equally recognisable – doubling up as a jewellery piece.
The Missoma collaboration is a natural evolution, with the cult jewellery label incorporating some of its bestselling pieces into stylish sunglasses silhouettes. There are just two frames in the range: the Elvissa and the Melissa. The former comes in three covetable colourways – tortoiseshell brown, black and cherry red – while the latter is available in minimalist black and tonal brown.
The silhouettes are both core Jimmy Fairly styles, while Missoma has put its signature stamp on the frames with sculptural arms or gold molten detailing on the side temples.
Costing £150, the sunglasses are complemented by a chain capsule, from beaded to pearl designs. On launch day, I tried on the full collection – and found my sunglasses for summer 2026. Here’s my review.

Missoma x Jimmy Fairly elvissa oval sunglasses

Inspired by some of Jimmy Fairly’s bestselling silhouettes – think the oval Janna, streamlined Elvie and fan-favourite Emmy – the Elvissa is available in three colourways. The black is minimalist with silver waved arms broken up by blue-tone tortoiseshell – if you wear silver jewellery, these are the frames for you. The classic tortoiseshell pair boast gold and matching tortoiseshell arms in Missoma’s signature waved silhouette. Universally flattering, the frames are an elevated everyday pair.
The cherry red pair creates more of a statement, with sculptural gold plated arms and red temple tips. The Elvissa is lightweight but doesn’t feel flimsy, promising the durability and scratch-resistance of Jimmy Fairly’s core range.

Missoma x Jimmy Fairly Melissa cat eye sunglasses

If I had to choose a favourite, it would be the Melissa sunglasses. Designed in both classic black and tonal chocolate brown, the silhouette is an exaggerated cat eye. Missoma have reimagined the shape by adding its recognisable gold textured detailing on the temples, inspired by its ‘Baya’ jewellery line.
The sunglasses are on the large side, so might drown out smaller faces – but the cat eye is an invariably flattering choice. They’re a bit heavier than the Elvissa but sit comfortable on the nose bridge. Perfectly complementing gold earrings, the sunglasses will add the final flourish to summer ensembles.
