The iOS version of the app has been completely rebuilt from the ground up over the last five months, with developers addressing the key issues that users reported in the App Store.
Meanwhile, the Android version has also had several updates to improve app performance and stability.
One of the key changes you may notice is the new article layout, which puts more focus on the article content, and less emphasis on padding and shadow.
If you enjoy leaving comments on stories, you’ll also notice a new comment design, including comment history and the ability to subscribe to comments.
Meanwhile, other key changes include support for both landscape and portrait mode, an improved reading flow, and the ability for users to discover more content on tag pages.
Overall, the developers hope the design refresh will mean the app is quicker and more instinctive to use.
