The Mino Raiola comments which could be fantastic news for Tottenham and Mauricio Pochettino

Super-agent Mino Raiola has been discussing the future of Manchester United star Paul Pogba, again.

Last week the Italian confirmed the France international is ready to leave the Red Devils after three years at the club amid talk of a return to Juventus or a summer move to La Liga giants Real Madrid.

United's official stance is that they intend to keep their most expensive signing and included him in their tour squad to Australia.

But will that stance soften as we count down the days until the closing of the transfer window for Premier League clubs?

One of two men who certainly hope that's the case is Pogba's agent who has moved to defend his client after

"The player [Pogba] has done nothing wrong," Raiola said on talkSPORT . "He has been respectful and professional in every way and always.

"The club has known his feeling for a long time.

"It is a shame other people only like to criticise without the right information, and I am also sorry that the club does not take any position against this.

"Hopefully there will be soon a satisfying solution for all parties."

Raiola's comments about being hopeful Pogba is granted his wish to leave could be great news for Mauricio Pochettino and Tottenham Hotspur.

But only if the midfielder heads to Real Madrid and not Juventus.

This is because Los Blancos have been linked with a summer move for Spurs midfielder Christian Eriksen and it's unlikely they will sign him as well as Pogba in this current window.

That would suit Pochettino to a tee as he would retain the services of his chief creator, pair him in alongside the likes of Tanguy Ndombele, Son Heung-min and Harry Kane in a system that would excite supporters.
