The Mets are tearing jerseys off of each other after walk-off wins and it’s the most fun

As the meme goes on Twitter, tired: Pouring a bucket of Gatorade over a walk-off hitter’s head.

Wired: Ripping a jersey off the walk-off hitter.

That’s what the New York Mets are doing these days as they continue to win games in dramatic fashion, and it’s the most fun.

Earlier this month, outfielder Michael Conforto knocked in the game-winning run against the Washington Nationals in the ninth inning, and his thrilled teammates proceeded to rip the jersey off of him.

On Wednesday night, in the 10th inning, outfielder J.D. Davis walked off with a single and first baseman Pete Alonso ripped off his shirt.

At least he was wearing an undershirt, unlike Conforto:

So what’s the deal? Alonso kept it simple:

Whatever! It’s delightful!
