The Met Office weather forecast for Wales this week as temperatures are set to soar

Wales is set for a few days of sunshine and soaring temperatures.

It's good news for pubs and restaurants hoping to entice al fresco diners and drinkers.

And it could mean another surge of visitors at Welsh beauty spots after hundreds of cars and hikers headed to Snowdonia on Sunday causing disruption on the roads.

Some popular coastal towns, such as Porthcawl, Bridgend, were also packed on the weekend as people made the most of the glorious sunshine.

But make the most of it because the high temperatures of 21°C won't last long.

Sunny spells will be frequent throughout the week, with cloudy weather and possible thunderstorms set to arrive on Thursday.
