The Met Gala 2026 Afterparties Raged On ‘Til 7am, Here’s What All The Celebs Got Up To Inside

Besides the iconic red carpeted steps, the Met Gala is a notoriously private event. Vogue’s former editor-in-chief and long-time Met Gala chairperson, Anna Wintour, famously implemented a strict no-phones rule at the annual fundraiser in 2015, so there’s always been an air of secrecy around what goes on inside The Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Thankfully, the celebrations at the end of the night are a bit less secretive, so we’ve gathered all the info we can find from the 2026 Met Gala afterparties. From surprise appearances to unexpected celeb link-ups, here’s the tea that will keep your cup overflowing.

Sabrina Carpenter and Madonna’s afterparty

The first of many afterparties was hosted by pop icons Sabrina Carpenter and Madonna, who recently performed together at Coachella and released a new song, “Bring Your Love”.

The “S&M After Dark” disco-themed event, hosted at New York’s social club Zero Bond, was attended by Hollywood stars Margot Robbie, Daisy Edgar-Jones, Rachel Sennott, Orlando Bloom, Casey Affleck, Adrien Brody and Sabrina’s bestie Joey King.

Stevie Nicks, Diplo, Marcello Hernandez and controversial honorary Met Gala co-chairs Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez Bezos were also in attendance, as well as Kendall Jenner, Cara Delevingne, Hailey Bieber, Karlie Kloss and Serena Williams, and the party reportedly lasted until 4am.

Only some pics have been released from inside the event, including a drinks menu with cocktails titled ‘The Sabrina’, ‘The Madonna’, ‘Bring Your Love’ and ‘Confessions II’. Chic.

Venus Williams’ afterparty

According to reports, Serena left Sabrina and Madonna’s afterparty and arrived at her sister Venus Williams’ afterparty 14 minutes away at The Amber Room at 1:40am.

Vogue wrote that Venus, who was a co-chair at the 2026 Met Gala, and Serena danced the night away to songs by Doechii, Rihanna and Beyoncé in the VIP lounge alongside Ty Dolla $ign, Leon Thomas and Jasmine Tookes

Apparently, there were rumours that 50 Cent or Busta Rhymes were going to perform at the event, which never eventuated, and Venus and Serena left before 3am as the party continued.

Zoë Kravitz’s afterparty

The most star-studded afterparty was definitely the Saint Laurent afterparty hosted by Anthony Vaccarello and Harry Styles’ rumoured fiancée Zoë Kravitz at People’s Bar.

The guest list included Leonardo DiCaprio, Katy Perry, Rosé, Troye Sivan, Charli XCX, SZA, Tate McRae, Ayo Edebiri, Alex Consani, Doja Cat, Angela BassettMaude Apatow, Hunter Schafer, Rami MalekTessa ThompsonMick JaggerBill Skarsgård and Connor Storrie.

Olivia Rodrigo also made a surprise appearance, despite skipping the 2026 Met Gala red carpet, and was spotted taking shots at the bar. Love that for her.

Some guests also hopped around different afterparties, with Margot Robbie, Kendall Jenner, Hailey Bieber, Cara Delevingne, Karlie Kloss, Daisy Edgar-Jones, Marcello Hernández and Orlando Bloom all heading to Sabrina and Madonna’s shindig after Saint Laurent’s party.

If you’re keeping up, that means that, yes, exes Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom attended the same party, but it’s unclear if they were there at the same time or interacted. Eek.

Baz Luhrmann’s afterparty

Aussie director Baz Luhrmann and his wife Catherine Martin hosted what’s been described as an after-afterparty at Monsieur after midnight with fellow Aussies Miranda Kerr (looking cosy with her husband Evan Spiegel), Elizabeth Debicki and Margot Robbie in attendance — so it looks like Margot was jumping around the whole night.

“Baz was the life of the party, dancing with Margot Robbie and her friends on banquets,” one source told Page Six.

Other guests included Gracie Abrams, Sombr, Odessa A’Zion, Jack Harlow, Maude Apatow and Rami Malek, while Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams reportedly embraced and had “an emotional reunion”.

Apparently, the Heated Rivalry co-stars were the biggest partygoers of the night and were “inseparable” as they hopped from GQ’s official afterparty to Baz Luhrmann’s event at 3:30am.

“They were weaving through the room hand-in-hand and, at one point, even sitting on each other’s laps, laughing like they had the place to themselves,” the source said.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s afterparty

Rihanna noticeably wasn’t photographed at any afterparties, but she told interviewers on the Met Gala red carpet that she and A$AP Rocky would be attending Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s event.

“We’re going to Beyonce and Jay-Z‘s afterparty. Are you kidding? There’s only one afterparty,” she laughed.

It’s been reported that the power couple hosted an ultra-private party at Crane Club Members Lounge, where guests required a QR code to enter.

Mick Jagger, SZA, Leonardo DiCaprio and his One Battle After Another co-star Teyana Taylor were all spotted arriving — as well as Serena and Venus Williams — and no photos have been released from inside the event, which you know means it was a fun night.

Teyana Taylor and Kate Moss’ afterparty

In addition to attending Beyoncé’s rumoured afterparty, Teyana Taylor hosted her own afterparty at The Box with Kate Moss, which kicked off at 1:30am.

Guests included Shaboozey, Evan Ross, Fai Khadra, and Lisa from Blackpink, and there were performances from Diplo, DJ Cruz and Busta Rhymes — who was rumoured to be performing at Venus Williams’ party but never showed up. Tea!

According to Vogue, the party went until 7am and there were “no iPhone cameras allowed”, so who knows what went on inside those walls.

These poor celebrities, how on earth did they decide which afterparties to attend!?
