He's Aston Villa's talisman and for Jack Grealish, Sunday is exactly the sort of occasion he's been waiting for.
The midfielder stayed at Villa Park during their fight for promotion despite reported interest from Tottenham Hotspur.
Grealish took on the role of the homegrown here as Villa made their way to the Premier League through the playoffs, and coming up against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium was exactly the sort of occasion he was craving.
The 24-year-old has had a quiet start to life in the top flight, but according to Chelsea legend John Terry, this isn't anything to worry about.
Grealish opened up to the Evening Standard about a conversation he had with the Aston Villa number two, and said that his slow start is not unusual.
He said: "[I need to] add goals and assists to my game.
“At the start of the season I know I haven't been playing to the standard I know I can. I can perform better.
From being in the Championship last year, now to being in the Premier League it is going to take a bit of time.
"I was speaking to John Terry the other day and he said it always took him five or six games to get to the standard he knew he could be at and I think that is the same as me at the moment.”
