Nickie Townsend said: "Birkenhead is in decline, the town centre no longer has a heart but 99% of the people have good hearts.

"You only have to look at free to you sites and covid help sites to see how the community pull together.

"There are some really nice places on the Wirral but also in Birkenhead itself.

"Flaybrick memorial gardens, Bidston Hill and Tam O Shanters farm, Birkenhead Park, The Priory, The gardens in Vyner Rd South to name a few.

"Yes, there are homeless people, beggars, drunks, drug addicts, stolen vehicles, teenagers misbehaving etc but show me a place there isn't.

"People should stop slating the place they live or grew up in and start giving back to the community.

"Teach the children not to disrespect others and the environment. Clean up your streets, stop flytipping, shop local, learn to love the place again and maybe, just maybe it can start to improve."

Sallyanne Walton said: "The one I love is no matter where you are in Birkenhead someone will always talk to."

Rob Barker Snr said: "Great childhood. Birkenhead Park and Biddy Hill are unbeatable. All in all some great people and I love coming back and visiting. Please speak well over it. It may not be perfect re Grange Rd etc, but it's the people that brings true worth to a place."

Lynn Bozarth McCann said: "We’ve just moved from Canada. Found out after we rented our flat that “you shouldn’t live there.”

"But we love it! Great public transportation, so many shops, the Market, etc. And the people have all been wonderful."

Sarah Gillam said: "The community, every single part of it."

Phillipa Sillitoe said: "The people who stop and speak to you...xx"
