Nominees have been announced for the English Curry Awards 2019 - and several Merseyside restaurants are on the list.
There’s no doubt Merseyside is home to plenty of tasty restaurants , serving everything from vegan creations to British classics and more - and now it’s curry houses are being praised.
The English Curry Awards, now in its ninth year, celebrate the best curry houses in the industry across the UK.
Winners will be crowned in a range of categories, including region, fine dining, street food, customer service, and more.

Holdi Rainford Indian Restaurant - St Helens - nominated for Most Wanted Restaurant of the Year and Best Team of the Year
Mayur Indian Restaurant - Liverpool - nominated for Best Restaurant Design & Ambience
Rumi by Bukhara - Liverpool - nominated for Best Customer Service
Yukti Indian Street Fusion - Liverpool - nominated for Street Food of the Year
The Pepper Vine - Liverpool - nominated for South Indian Restaurant of the Year
