On a brutally hot day at the Memorial Tournament, Jon Rahm also managed to get hot. The Spaniard fired a 4-under 68 to climb to 12 under and the top of the leaderboard. He’ll take a four-shot lead into the final round on Sunday.
Second-round co-leaders Tony Finau and Ryan Palmer remain knotted together but are now at 8 under. Both gave a shot back on Saturday with a round of 1-over 73.
As for Tiger Woods, a 1-under 71 was far better than a second-round effort that resulted in 76. Woods made the cut on the number on Friday, but took moderate advantage of moving day. He’s T-37 entering the final round and paired with Marc Leishman.
