In recent years some of the biggest fast food chains in the UK have started to try to attract the vegan pound.
Greggs launched its vegan sausage roll last year, Burger King launched its first vegan burger in April and even KFC sent fans into a frenzy with its Imposter vegan burger .
But there is one fast food chain which hasn't launched a specific vegan range yet - McDonald's.
You may then be surprised to find out there are plenty of options on offer for vegetarians and vegans at Maccies - all you need to do is a little bit of customisation.

Vegetable Deluxe
The red pesto veggie goujon burger is sandwiched between a dairy-free sesame seed bun.
Hold the sandwich sauce and it becomes totally vegan.
You can also swap the bun for a wrap when you order The Spicy Veggie One.
Happy Meal
Kids - and adults - can enjoy a non-spicy Veggie Wrap Happy Meal.
Goujons, shredded lettuce and tomato ketchup come wrapped in a small toasted tortilla.
French fries
One of the most satisfying food fixes at McDonald’s is vegan-friendly.
The French fries are fried in vegetable oil in fryers used only for potato and vegetable-based foods.
Sauces
Vegan sauces include Heinz Tomato Ketchup, Spicy Tomato Salsa, Sweet Chilli, Sweet & Sour, Sweet Curry, and BBQ (not to be confused with the Smokey BBQ, which contains honey).
Desserts
A vegan diet can also include McDonald’s apple pies, pineapple sticks, and apple and grape bags.
Breakfast
And for breakfast menu visits, there’s the hash brown, plain toasted bagel, and porridge - but when you ask for it to be made with water instead of milk.
Fruit bags, and pineapple, carrot, and cucumber sticks are also available before 10.30am.
So while there are no officially certified vegan products on the McDonald's menu, all the above items are suitable for people on a vegan diet.
