Francesco Molinari put together a stunning second round to take part of a five-way lead at the halfway point in The Masters.
But Friday at Augusta National was all about Tiger Woods. The four-time champion came alive on the back nine to post a stunning 68, leaving him one shot back from the 36-hole lead of seven under.
Overnight leader Brooks Koepka remains at the top of the leaderboard, but the man alongside him at the start of the day, Bryson DeChambeau, fell away with a double-bogey on the 10th.
Rory McIlroy continued to struggle but managed to put a round of 71 together and is seven shots off the lead despite nine bogeys over the first two days.
World No1 Justin Rose missed the cut at Augusta for the first time 14 appearances while the man he lost to in 2017, Sergio Garcia, also missed the cut for the second consecutive year.
