The massive, 2.2 million-pound videoboard is complete at the Rams and Chargers’ stadium

The brand new SoFi Stadium — the future home of the Los Angeles Rams and Chargers — should immediately be among the best stadiums in the world. The roughly $6 billion stadium took four years to build, and when it’s completed, it will have easily the craziest videoboard fans have ever seen.

SoFi Stadium will include a double-sided, 2.2 million-pound, 70,000-square-foot videoboard that they’re calling the “Oculus.” Where the Falcons’ Mercedes-Benz Stadium features a first-of-its-kind halo board, SoFi Stadium is taking that concept to a whole other level.

And on Wednesday, that videoboard was finally completed. The Rams shared a video of the finished Oculus board, and oh my, that’s a big TV.

According to the Rams, the screen will have a 4K HDR display and include 80 million pixels with a 260-speaker sound system.

It should be incredible.
