The Masked Singer has returned to TV screens this evening (January 7) and Brits across the country are scratching their heads as they try to identify this year's contestants. The ITV1 show returned last weekend with four panellists Jonathan Ross, Rita Ora, Davina McCall and Mo Gilligan as well as Joel Dommett at the helm.
In tonight's episode viewers watched as the unknown celebrity contestants battled it out and tried to keep their identities hidden. Viewers tested out their detective skills as they attempted to unmask the celebrity contestant using riddles and clues.
And, it appears fans may have cracked the identity one of tonight's contestants, Jacket Potato, with a number of people guessing the same celebrity. Jacket Potato took to the stage to perform Viva Las Vegas.

Dressed as a Jacket Potato - with a knob of butter stuck to their head - the giant spud offered a handful of clues. Jacket Potato described their character as 'smooth, creamy and occasionally baked'. Jacket Potato's clue package included cards with the words 'Pig Face' and 'Dog Nose' being put into a glass jar, as well as the Potato reading a copy Romeo & Juliet.
Their riddle said: "Hey its me Jack, Jacket potato, I've got quite the collection so big you'll say woah." Despite the hints, it seems that it was Jacket Potato's voice that has led to many Twitter users suggesting that it's none other than EastEnders star and former West End performer Shane Richie.
One Twitter user wrote: "Is Jacket Potato on The mask singer Shane Richie?" Another said: "Shane Richie after the first couple of notes. 100%"
A third wrote: "I missed the clues, but from the voice, Jacket Potato sounds like [Shane Richie]." Panellist Jonathon Ross also suggested Shane Richie, with other panellists throwing stars such as Sean Paul, Alex James or Jack Whitehall into the ring.
