Love it or hate it, new ITV show The Masked Singer has got everyone talking and there was one performer who generated a huge reaction on Sunday night.
While, some viewers are already absolutely sucked in by the crazy new singing contest, others are already calling for
But one thing is for sure, the new series has caused a massive buzz on social media. Ex-I'm A Celebrity finalist Joel Dommett leads the show as host of the surreal and surprising guessing game that sees 12 famous faces compete to pull off the best performance, with their identity elaborately and imaginatively concealed behind the mask.
It's the job of panelists TV presenter Jonathan Ross; chart-topping singer Rita Ora; TV favourite Davina McCall and Hollywood actor and comedian, Ken Jeong to try and work out who the famous faces are behind the masks.
And, while they had differing opinions on their identity, all the judges and millions watching at home were absolutely blown away by the singer dressed as an Octopus who wowed with their rendition of Part Of Your World from The Little Mermaid which you can watch in the video from ITV above.
One enthused "Wow the octopus is great!," another tweeted "Wowzers what a great voice from the octopus - no idea who though!!" and a third reacted "Well thank God for that, the Octopus was hands/ tentacles lol down the best singer of the night, if not the series...FACT!
Tweeting sentiments shared by many others, another joked "OCTOPUS singing the ultimate Disney classic! What more could you ask for to end your weekend?!
Some of the social media guesses for who Octopus could be include Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts, fellow PCD stars Kimberley Wyatt and Melody Thornton and Celebrity Big Brother winner Courtney Act.
