The Masked Singer's Robobunny unmasked as Westlife's Mark Feehily in ITV final

Mark Feehily has been unmasked as Robobunny on The Masked Singer tonight.

The Westlife singer was revealed to be underneath the futuristic rabbit costume on the ITV guessing game this evening during the show’s final episode.

The finale of the singing battle welcomed back contestants from the first two series, including last year’s winner Joss Stone, who was unmasked as Sausage in 2021.

Joss joined the judging panel alongside Jonathan Ross, Mo Gilligan, Rita Ora and Davina McCall - all of whom were left gobsmacked when Robobunny was unmasked to reveal their true identity.

Robobunny gave a final rousing performance of Snow Patrol's Run before the final clue, saying: "Winning The Masked Singer would be my second greatest achievement".

In Robobunny's final clue package, they said: "Tonight is the last mile of the competition and against all odds I reached the final level. I've hoped genre to genre to try and keep you guessing, but will I make the hall of fame?

"I've played a long game but tonight we see farewell and the mask comes off."

Robobunny's costume was hailed as one of the best and most unusual we have ever seen on the show - leaving viewers desperate to know who was underneath it.

Many were convinced the secret celebrity was from Top Gear - with Paddy McGuinness, Richard Hammond and Jeremy Clarkson mentioned among theories.

Robobunny left a clue, telling viewers: "I might be made of metal but that doesn't stop me making a splash."

Some fans of the ITV guessing game were convinced it might even be two people in the costume due to the celeb's incredible singing range - whilst others were sure the voice belonged to Westlife's Mark Feehily himself.

The Masked Singer has had fans all across the UK guessing who might be behind the masks for the last few weeks, as the ultimate guessing game saw ITV viewers take to social media to share wide-ranging theories on the identities.

The Masked Singer’s host Joel Dommett gave fans a sneak hint of who the 2022 winner of the ITV show could be ahead of the final, as the show was pre-recorded.

The 36-year-old told ITV’s Lorraine Kelly: “I was very, very happy with the outcome. It’s such a special final. I think it’s just all out madness, silliness, great guest judge.”

He continued: “I think the three finalists are the three that deserved to be in the final this year. I think they’re very very good.

“One person in particular - I’m not going to give it away - but, I lose my mind. I lose my mind. It comes out of nowhere.”

Last week, Rockhopper was unmasked as Destiny's Child singer Michelle Williams on the celeb singing competition.

There was a double elimination on the show, with Aled Jones leaving the programme first when he was unmasked as Traffic Cone earlier in the night, and then later followed by the singer.
