The Masked Singer Queen Bee's identity 'rumbled' as girl band member after huge clues are dropped

For weeks now, viewers have been convinced Queen Bee on The Masked Singer is Nicola Roberts from Girls Aloud but now another name is in the frame after a huge clue was dropped on Saturday night.

If you still haven't watched The Masked Singer, ex-I'm A Celebrity finalist Joel Dommett leads the ITV show as host of the surreal and surprising guessing game that sees 12 famous faces compete to pull off the best performance, with their identity elaborately and imaginatively concealed behind costumes including a Bee, Tree, Chameleon and even an Octopus.

And Queen Bee sparked loads of conversation on Twitter after her performance of Alicia Key's Girl on Fire on Saturday. In her VT before taking to the stage, Queen Bee revealed she won a competition at a young age, which would still fit Nicola as she won her place in Girls Aloud at the age of 16, but then came the curveball when Queen Bee said "these wings are made to fly," which is of course a line from Little Mix's Wings.

And it was that clue that has now led to Masked Singers speculating that Queen Bee is in fact Jade Thirlwall, with Davina McCall even saying she thought she had a Geordie accent.

One fan tweeted "wait I think it’s 100% jade from little mix," and, in agreement, another reacted " #QueenBee Jade from Little Mix." Other viewers speculated that Queen Bee could maybe be Jade's Little Mix bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock, while others are still adamant it's Nicola.

One tweeted "It’s Nicola Roberts 100%," and other names thrown into the ring include X Factor stars Louisa Johnson and Cher Lloyd.
