The Masked Singer Queen Bee identity at centre of more speculation as star denies it's them

A star has denied they are Queen Bee on The Masked Singer just hours before the final.

Since the crazy ITV show kicked off at the start of the month, Queen Bee is the act who has gathered the most opinions, with a host of candidates put forward on social media.

Prior to last week's semi-final, viewers think they had it down to to people - Jade Thirlwall from Little Mix and former Girls Aloud member Nicola Roberts. And it's Nicola that was then been named as a certainty after a song lyric clue gave away her idenity. In her VT, Queen Bee spoke about enjoying spending time in France before adding "maybe I should stick with England as French is a language I can't speak."

However, another singer whose name has cropped up among social media guesses has taken to Twitter to publicly deny it's them. On Saturday, Charlotte Church tweeted: "“I'm definitely not the bee, repeat NOT the bee.” Some people thought Charlotte was the bee after an early clue about her being famous from a young age.

Some followers think Charlotte is playing the game though as she has also been linked to being Octopus, with many viewers convinced that it's either her or fellow opera singer Katherine Jenkins under the elaborate disguise.

Earlier this week, Masked Singer presenter Joel Dommett said that some of the acts had been sussed out and had to play dumb about being on the show. Stars unmasked so far include Cee-Lo Gree, Denise Van Outen and Kelis.
