The Masked Singer: Odds reveal that some viewers think a former Prime Minister could be behind the mask

From sporting icons to pop stars, celebrities from all walks of fame could be behind the mask on The Masked Singer.

But this year, it appears that some viewers think a former Prime Minister could be a contestant on the show, in which celebrities dress up in bizarre disguises as the judges guess who they could possibly be.

SInce its launch in January 2020, The Masked Singer has split audiences as viewers debate who they think could be behind each character.

Now, after two shows of the latest season, many are placing bets on celebrities on Betway, an online gambling website, which is showcasing a live betting table.

So, who do fans think is behind each character?

As of Thursday, January 6, here are a few of the most interesting odds placed on each character.

Bagpipes

At present, Judy Murray sits at the top of the betting table, with odds of 2.00 to her name. Her son, Andy Murray, is below her, at odds of 7.00.

Further down the list, Doctor Who co-stars David Tennant and Karen Gillan are at odds of 9.00 and 11.00 respectively.

Towards the bottom of the chart, you can spot a few political figures.

First Minister of Scotland Nicola Sturgeon stands in a penultimate position, at 101.00 odds, whilst former Prime Minister Gordon Brown finishes last, at odds of 251.00.

Doughnuts

This sweet character is thought to be played by former Liverpool striker Michael Owen, who currently stands at odds of 1.01.

Gary Lineker currently stands second on the list, with odds of 8.00, and Inbetweeners star James Buckley follows him, with odds of 15.00 to his name.

Lionfish

It appears that many viewers are convinced that Pop Idol star Will Young is behind Lionfish, with odds of 1.25 to his name.

Other guesses include Craig Revel Horwood (11.00), Judge Rinder (34.00), Alan Carr (51.00), and Harry Potter star Evanna Lynch (101.00).

Mushroom

Welsh pop icon Charlotte Church appears to be the most likely answer when it comes to the 'Who is Mushroom?' question, with odds of 1.33 to the singer's name.

Meanwhile, some viewers think that the earthy-toned fungus could be Aisling Bea (6.00), Sarah Millican (21.00), Keeley Hawes (34.00), or Sia (34.00), to name a few guesses.

Panda

It seems that fans think the cute black and white character could be voiced by Alesha Dixon, who stands at the top of the board with odds of 2.50.

Other popular guesses for Panda include Emily Atack (6.00), Ashley Roberts (6.50), and Michaela Strachan (7.00).

Robobunny

Westlife star Markus Feehily is the celebrity viewers are putting their money on to be behind Robobunny's mask, with odds of 1.20 against the Irish singer's name.

Paddy McGuinness (5.00), Tom Daley (8.00), and Drake (11.00) also appear on the list of odds.

Rockhopper

Kimberley Wyatt is a very popular guess, with odds of 2.00 standing next to the The Pussycat Dolls star.

However, some viewers think that Nadine Coyle (3.50), Lady Leshurr (6.50) or Zendaya (8.00) could be behind the penguin's mask.

Traffic Cone

Craig Charles tops the list of odds for Traffic Cone, with odds of 2.62 to his name.

Meanwhile, other viewers have placed odds on Danny John-Jules (3.75), Rick Astley (6.00), and Adrian Edmondson (7.00).
