Amanda Holden may just have unintentionally thrown her hat into the ring for the identity one of the acts on The Masked Singer after refusing to confirm or deny that she is Fox.
The zany ITV show continued at the weekend when both Duck and Unicorn were umasked. Duck was revealed to by Skunk Anansie singer Skin while, a number of viewers were proved right when Unicorn turned out to be Scissor Sisters singer Jake Shears.
Following his exit, Jake has 'exposed' the identities of Queen Bee and Hedgehog and now the finger of speculation has pointed to Fox after BGT judge Amanda was questioned on it on Monday.
Her Heart Radio Breakfast co-host Jamie Theakston grilled over her possible involvement live on air this morning. Reading out a text from a listener, Jamie said "Morning Jamie and Amanda, our house is so into the Masked Singer' – we spoke to Jake Shears earlier this morning of course – 'We think we know who the Fox is. It is Foxy Amanda Holden'."
Amanda replied "Oh," before Jamie read out the rest of the text, saying "Come on, own up Mandy. Have a great day."
He then added "They all think that the Fox is you. Is there any truth in you being the Fox in the Masked Singer?" to which she replied "I can’t reveal. I can’t say."
