Then they were unmasked as BRIT Award winning singer-songwriter Joss Stone.

And bubbly Joss was delighted to have kept her secret for so long on the secretive singing show.

A curveball was thrown by the portion of sausage and chips costume because Joss, 33, is vegan.

"It was the funniest most hilarious job I've ever had. I feel like I've won the world," said the Super Duper Love hitmaker.

Ne-Yo was another surprise (ITV)

In second place was Grammy-winning pop R&B superstar Ne-Yo as the smooth-voiced Badger, which also came as a surprise.

"I was listening to your song this morning in the shower," gasped guest judge Nicola, who won the first series in the disguise as Queen Bee.

"Ne-yo?? I'm shocked," tweeted one fan.

"I adore him. So many of my fave songs growing up are by him!!" said another.

"Ne-Yo has went from winning a Grammy to being dressed as a badger on ITV," said another amazed viewer.

And TV presenter Carol Vorderman tweeted: "OK so now we're all in love with Ne-Yo."

Coming in third place the soulful Robin was unmasked to reveal JLS singer Aston Merrygold, which many viewers and the judges had already guessed.
