The Masked Singer judge Jonathan Ross ordered to eat bagpipes after guessing blunder

The Masked Singer is known for being one of the wackiest shows on TV with its weird and wonderful characters and Saturday night's show served up another first.

During the latest episode of the much-loved ITV show, the disguised contestants sang a variety of love songs to get the celebrity panel guessing.

After Bagpipes' performance of Teenage Dirtbag judges Jonathan Ross and Davina McCall argued over which tennis star was under the costume.

But chat show host Jonathan was adamant that it was John McEnroe.

"If that's not John McEnroe, I will eat one of his pipes!" Jonathan asserted.

Davina was delighted when it turned out that she was right and Bagpipes was unmasked as Pat, who became the latest star to be eliminated from the ITV guessing game.

And fans wanted to see Jonathan staying true to his word.

@siannnyyy26 said on Twitter: "Oh @wossy how you eating that costume now? Fried, poached, roasted?"

@EZM41990753 tweeted: "I would love to see Jonathan Ross eating the entire bagpipes costume live #TheMaskedSinger."

@scottishquine76 said: "Hope your peckish Jonathan."

@Cat086 commented: "Hope you're hungry Jonathan Ross."

And @NiallSF instructed: ".@wossy you may get your knife and fork!"

Fans were delighted when, as Pat reprised his song without his mask, the camera cut to Jonathan pretending to munch on a set of bagpipes.

Pat's elimination follows the departure of Pop Idol winner Will Young, who was posing as the Lion Fish, Loose Women star Gloria Hunniford who was unveiled as the Snow Leopard and M People singer Heather Small who was disguised as the Chandelier.
