The Masked Singer fans convinced major clue has just revealed Viking's identity

Fans of The Masked Singer think they definitely know the identity of Viking on The Masked Singer after his latest performance.

Viewers were stunned when the masked character performed the A-ha classic Take On Me when for weeks they've been saying Viking is the band's frontman Morten Harket.

The judges didn't guess that it was Morten, perhaps thinking the clue would be too obvious on the ITV singing show.

Rita Ora guessed that it was Ben Adams from the boyband A1, who covered the 1984 hit in 2000.

But many viewers watching at home think the song is a double bluff.

"Morten Harket is doing his own song! Hiding in plain sight," said one on Twitter.

"Morten Harket singing his own song HOW HAVE THEY NOT GUESSED HIM?!" shouted another.

"The judges can’t be serious not knowing that was CLEARLY Morten Harket singing his own song. #TheMaskedSinger," said another viewer.

"Double bluff. Viking's still Morten Harket," said another.

"Morten Harket doing an absolute double bluff by performing his own song," tweeted another.

Fans also think other clues on the guessing game have given it away.

"'Seen by over a billion people' is going to be a reference to Take On Me having over a billion views on YouTube," said one.

"I’m so convinced now Viking is #MortenHarket clues threw me off a bit but then A-ha had a come back album Cast in Steel, the Take On Me videos been viewed a billion times and the acoustic version was in Deadpool2!!! I hope I’m not wrong," said another.

"A-Ha have an album called Cast In Steel. It’s #MortenHarket 100%," tweeted another fan.
