The Masked Dancer’s frisky Llama tried to pull Beetroot behind the scenes of the show.
The stud trotted to her dressing room to deliver a love note, breaching strict protocols to keep their distance from the other stars.
Sadly, Llama’s efforts didn’t yield results before the vegetable was unmasked as burlesque star Dita Von Teese on Monday night.
“Llama slipped a note under my door so I can’t wait to see who’s in that costume,” says Dita, coyly.
“I was wishing I could have had a Masked Romance, totally in character of course.”
Line of Duty’s Vicky McClure fuelled rumours one of AC-12 is playing the velvet-clad camelid, posting on social media yesterday: “Been an aLLAM’ingly hot day.”
Dita, who is dating Disney graphic designer Adam Rajcevich, says playing Beetroot was “more nerve-wracking than a striptease”.
“Every time I would feel inept and silly, I’d have to remember the big picture.
"You are a dancing Beetroot on the silliest show on TV,” she adds.
