The Masked Dancer's Beetroot was unmasked at the end of Monday's show and the fact that it was Dita Von Teese hiding in the disguise left the panel in a state of shock.
Earlier in the day, the ITV show's host Joel Dommett told viewers to expect one of the 'biggest reveals' the show has ever done and it was certainly one that not many people saw coming.
Beetroot found herself in the bottom two alongside Knickerbocker Glory at the end of show three and, after each act had performed again, judges Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross, Mo Gilligan and Oti Mabuse had to decide who to keep and who to send home following the exits of Jordan Banjo and Louise Redknapp on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
After the panel vote it was Beetroot who became the third Masked Dancer to get the chop, with stars like Miley Cyrus and Kim Cattrall among the last ditch guesses at who they might be.
But no one identified it was world famous burlesque star and ex of rocker Marilyn Manson, Dita, behind the mask, with Davina shouting: "I can't believe it!" as she removed the head of her costume.

Oti said she did write Dita's name down at one point before scribbling it out again, with Jonathan also coming close after unknowingly rumbling the fact that Dita had once spoken at Oxford University's students union.
A clue about Beetroot's fans "all being in Hollywood" was in reference to the fact that all the fans Dita uses for her burlesque shows are stored in Hollywood.
Masked Dancer fans as blown away as the panel that Dita was on the show, with one tweeting: "I was not expecting a real celebrity like @DitaVonTeese," and another reacting: "I would have never guessed Dita Von Teese in a million years! I was thinking Ashley or Kimberly from the pussycat dolls"
