Popular west end restaurant Wee Lochan has been replaced by a brand new food venue on Crow Road.
The Broomhill spot has been taken over by The Marlborough with work well underway in Glasgow's west end ahead of opening.
The 'all day venue' is set to serve food throughout from morning until night including breakfast and brunch and its hoped that, when restrictions allow, they will trade until midnight.
Currently recruiting staff, the team behind The Marlborough posted on Facebook: "Our new project on the site of the old Wee Lochan restaurant is almost finished and it's time to build the team.
"Crazy in these uncertain times some might say but we prefer optimistic, positive and loves a challenge."
They plan to open in the middle of this month, when current covid Tier 4 restrictions are lifted.
The Wee Lochan announced its permanent closure in July, after shutting in March on account of the coronavirus crisis.
