Lightning and thunder hit large parts of Wales on Wednesday evening with torrential downpours soaking much of the country.
Although some parts on Wednesday may have only seen glimpses or none at all, others were treated to long spells of thunder.
Monmouthshire, Treorchy and across the Brecon Beacons saw some of the highest concentration of lightning strikes, while Swansea, mid-Wales and Anglesey avoided it altogether.
It comes as parts of Wales are being warned of more torrential rain and thunderstorms as more than a month's worth of rain could fall in just a couple of hours in places.
The Met Office has two weather warnings for heavy rain and thunderstorms across a large area of the country the day after homes were flooded following flash floods on Wednesday night.

Cardiff
The capital didn't see much lightning, but some suburbs were hit by a handful of strikes when the adverse weather arrived.
Newport
Newport was also spared, but dozens of strikes were recorded in nearby Risca and across Monmouthshire on Wednesday evening.
Rhondda Cynon Taf
Much of Rhondda Cynon Taf missed any lightning, but Treorchy was hit several times. Several homes in Pentre, near Treorchy, were badly affected by the torrential rain on Wednesday only four months after it was devastated by Storm Dennis.
Brecon Beacons
As the heavy weather hit on Wednesday, large parts of the Brecon Beacons saw lightning.
Much of it was concentrated over higher ground in the east.
Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire
Much of the coast along west Wales didn't see any thunderstorms, including Swansea, but Narberth and St Clears were hit dozens of times.
North and Mid Wales
Large parts of north Wales didn't see any lightning, with most of the strikes concentrated over the Snowdonia National Park.
There were no recorded strikes in Angelsey and in many towns along the border despite many nearby English areas being bombarded with strikes.

Forecasters say there would be between 20 and 30mm of rain in just an hour in places, with some areas seeing what you would expect to see in a month over the course of a couple of hours.
