The man Spurs fans are hailing after dramatic late win at Wolves - and it's not Jan Vertonghen

There was late drama at Molineux this afternoon as Spurs struck in injury time to beat Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League.

After Lucas Moura had netted a stunning strike early on in the game, Spurs were pegged back by Wolves, with Adama Traore equalising midway through the second half.

It looked to be heading towards a draw with the game heading into injury time, despite both sides pushing for a winner.

But Jan Vertonghen popped up to net in the first added minute of stoppage time, heading home from a corner to seal three points for Jose Mourinho's men.

It was a dramatic winner for Spurs, sparking big celebrations among the supporters of the Lilywhites.

However, one man was given praise by some fans on social media after the game - and it wasn't Vertonghen.

Instead, the man who provided the assist - Christian Eriksen - came in for praise from these Spurs fans above on social media.

The result moved Spurs above their opponents and into fifth in the table, with Mourinho's men now just three points behind Chelsea in fourth, ahead of a clash against their London rivals at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

A win for Spurs would move them above Chelsea ahead of Christmas, with Tottenham then facing Brighton & Hove Albion, Norwich City and Southampton over the festive period.
