'The man' - Nottingham Forest player ratings against Wycombe Wanderers

Nottingham Forest won a second consecutive home game as they beat Wycombe Wanderers 2-0 at the City Ground.

Here's how Matt Davies rated the performances of the Reds players.

Brice Samba: Had relatively little to do, but controlled his area well. Saved well from Fred Onyedinma. 7

Cyrus Christie: Troubled by Daryl Horgan early on, but settled well and put a lovely cross in for Taylor's first goal. 7.5

Scott McKenna: Another strong performance at the back from the Scotland international. 7

Tobias Figueiredo: Hasn't always had it easy this season but looked assured here. A tough challenge marking Adebayo Akinfenwa. 7

Yuri Ribeiro: Less of an attacking threat than against Coventry, but defended well. 7

Samba Sow: Did well in the first half before being replaced at the break. Strong as ever and looked energetic so it was surprise to see him come off, although perhaps a smart precaution. 7

Jack Colback: Played well in the midfield battle. A few good interceptions and looked more like his old self. 7.5

Anthony Knockaert: Brighter than on Wednesday night. Caused Wycombe problems but there is still more to come. 7

Miguel Guerrero: The Spaniard had been yet to convince but he did well here, especially in the first half. Linked the play well behind Taylor. 7.5

Sammy Ameobi: Decent first half down the left flank, but less involved after the break. 6.5

Lyle Taylor: Excellent performance leading the line. Scored a poacher's header and a fine individual effort. Almost set up a third. Looks like he enjoys being 'the man' with Lewis Grabban out. 8.5

Subs: Ryan Yates (for Sow 46): A different performance from Sow. Competitive and competent but less explosive. Helped deal with Akinfenwa 7

Joe Lolley (for Guerrero 68): Played on the right wing with Knockaert on the left. Looked a little brighter than against Coventry. 6

Harry Arter (for Guerrero 77): Almost scored a third goal. Offered good energy in a late cameo. 6.5

Sub not used: Smith, Mbe Soh, Freeman, Jenkinson
