Sean Dyche praised Manchester City for their efforts in claiming a crucial Premier League win at Burnley.
A Sergio Aguero goal that crossed the line by an inch was enough to pick up another three points to leave the Blues in control of their own fate with two games to go.
Pep Guardiola talked glowingly afterwards of the preparations his side had put in for a notoriously tricky ground, crediting his side for not conceding a corner or a shot on target against a team excellent from dead ball situations.
Dyche was also happy with his side for their performance against the reigning champions, and impressed by the lengths that Guardiola went to to tie up the game by bringing on two defenders for two forwards in the final ten minutes.
"I heard Pep Guardiola with my own ears saying 'get it in the corner'. Even the best sides have to do it and I have absolutely no problem with it at all," the Burnley manager said.
"Sometimes they have to do it as well and today was one of those times. I thought it was refreshing to hear a top manager scream to his players to get it in the corner.
"I think it is a sign of him wanting to win. You have to do what he wants to do to win. There were a few moments in the second half where you saw the game slowing down. I have got no problem with it. They are a top side but they still have to do the details."
