Chelsea have managed to beat Arsenal and Tottenham to a 600th Premier League victory with their 3-0 success over Aston Villa at the weekend.
A brace from Romelu Lukaku and a further strike from Mateo Kovacic saw the Blues run out comprehensive winners against the Villans at Stamford Bridge. Thomas Tuchel’s men then followed that victory up with a slender 1-0 success against Zenit St Petersburg in the first game of their Champions League defence.
Their win against Villa though was a standout one as it was their 600th success in the Premier League having been ever-presents in the division since its inception in 1992.
In fact, the Blues became just the second side in Premier League history to reach 600 wins after Manchester United claimed the achievement with a 3-1 victory away against Middlesbrough in 2017.
In all, it has taken Chelsea 1,118 matches to reach the number, whilst they have drawn 274 and lost a further 244 matches.
In that time, the club have claimed five Premier League titles under the guidance of Jose Mourinho, Carlo Ancelotti and Antonio Conte.
What will certainly be even more satisfying for the Blues is that they have beaten two London rivals to the milestone.
Arsenal are just two wins behind Chelsea with 598, whilst Tottenham are some way behind with 483.
Thomas Tuchel will be hoping to add to the Blues' long list of league victories against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday afternoon.
Chelsea have so far not lost in the league since the 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa on the final day of the 2020/21 campaign.
