The major clue Arsenal fans have spotted that Dani Ceballos transfer is imminent

Arsenal look set to announce the signing of Dani Ceballos as the club dropped a major hint on their website.

The midfielder is expected to announced as the Gunners' latest signing when he joins on a season-long loan deal from Real Madrid.

Ceballos will become Unai Emery's second signing of the summer after he completed the deal for Gabriel Martinelli from Brazilian side Ituano.

Reports have suggested that a deal could be completed in the coming days, but the Arsenal website has dropped the biggest hint yet that the deal is close.

The 22-year-old has had a player profile created in his name, suggesting that his announcement could be imminent.

Ceballos' page is locked to public users, but it appears that it's ready and waiting for the moment that Gunners confirm his arrival in north London.

The midfielder spoke to to Spanish newspaper  Marca , outlining his plans for the future and said that his main priority in his next move is playing regular first team football.

He said: "I imagine Zidane will have seen it, but he has very clear ideas and we all know his thoughts.

"The most important thing in life is to be happy and that can only happen by playing 40 games a year. My personal goal for next season is to play 40 games and to be comfortable at all times. Wherever it is doesn't matter, but it has to be a place where I can feel valued."

With Arsenal looking like the most likely destination, Zinedine Zidane spoke to the press after the pre-season clash with the Gunners, and said he expected the deal to be done 'in the coming days'.

Judging by the club website, it appears that announcement could be coming sooner rather than later.
