The ‘Madden’ Twitter account hilariously roasted the Ravens for leaking the Lamar Jackson cover news

Technically, if we’re splitting hairs here, it was Lamar Jackson who revealed to the world that he was the newest Madden cover athlete for the 2021 edition, and the Baltimore Ravens who decided to tweeted out the video of his announcement to the world.

But EA Sports’ Madden Twitter account decided to roast the Ravens for their actions in this matter, and it resulted in some funny stuff happening, so really, we’re all winners and it doesn’t matter who’s to blame here.

Check out the response, a very good GIF about the Ravens after Jackson confirmed he would grace the cover of Madden 21:

The account also tweeted and later deleted a tweet citing a post from Complex that was a shot at the Ravens’ Twitter feed (the publication had named them the top NFL Twitter account for 2020):

Hilarious.
